One Piece: 13 Characters Who Can Use All 3 Haki Types (2023)

Haki is one of the most extensively used powers in the world of One Piece. Although this power made its debut right at the beginning of the series, it wasn't until we got to the two-year time-skip that it was properly explained. Simply put, Haki is the spirit of a person that can usually be awakened in two forms. These are Observation Haki, the power to sense the spirit of others, among many other things, and Armament Haki, the power to manifest it as a weapon to attack and defend with.

Although extremely rare, a third type of Haki, known as Conqueror's Haki, also exists and it allows the user to exert their authority over others, knocking out the weak ones in the process. Very few characters in One Piece have awakened all three Haki types, but here's a list of all those who have achieved this feat.

13 Monkey D. Luffy

Luffy first awakened Haki way before the time-skip, however, only after training under Rayleigh did he get to master its basic usage. It's no surprise that Luffy possesses the power to use all three types of Haki, being someone who aims to become the Pirate King. In fact, Luffy has successfully taken his Armament and Observation Haki to extreme levels, making him a magnificent pirate in the process.

12 Portgas D. Ace

Ace was first seen using Haki to save Dadan when Grey Terminal was on fire. Being the son of Roger, it is hardly shocking for him to have Conqueror's Haki. At Sabaody Archipelago, in his fight against Vice-Admiral Draw, Ace awakened his Armament Haki as well. Although Ace has never been seen using Observation Haki, it is almost certain that he possesses it, making him a user of all three Haki types as well.

11 Sengoku

Sengoku was the former Fleet Admiral of the Marines and one of the legends from Roger's era. All Marines of the rank of Vice-Admiral and above are supposed to have Armament and Observation Haki, which makes Sengoku a user of these two types as well. Furthermore, Sengoku is the only known Marine to possess the ability to use Conqueror's Haki, as mentioned in his Vivre Card.

10 Don Chinjao

Don Chinjao was the 12th leader of the Happo Navy and a powerful pirate back in his day. His bounty is said to be at least 500 million berris, which makes him feel even more menacing than he actually does. Chinjao was confirmed to be a user of all three Haki types, as seen at Dressrosa. He fought Luffy in the Coliseum, losing to his Thor Elephant Gun.

9 Donquixote Doflamingo

Donquixote Doflamingo, the former King of Dressrosa, was a fearsome pirate in the New World with Celestial Dragon lineage. Before be became a Shichibukai, Doflamingo had a bounty of 340 million berries on his head. As seen throughout the Dressrosa arc, Doflamingo had the ability to use all three Haki types, however, his usage of the ability was pretty basic.

8 Charlotte Katakuri

The second strongest fighter in the Big Mom Pirates, Charlotte Katakuri featured as Luffy's biggest obstacle during the Whole Cake Island arc of One Piece. Katakuri proved to be a pirate who not only had Devil Fruit powers but also wielded the ability to use all the Haki types. Unlike Doflamingo, two of his three Haki types were quite powerful, these being his Observation and Armament Haki. His Observation Haki, in particular, was extremely powerful as it allowed him to see glimpses of the future.

7 Charlotte Linlin

Charlotte Linlin is one of the strongest pirates in the world of One Piece. She has a bounty of above 4.3 billion berries on her head. Linlin has the power to use the powerful Paramecia type Devil Fruit, known as the Soru Soru no Mi, that allows her to freely manipulate souls of people.

Aside from that, Linlin also has the ability to use all three Haki types, which is hardly surprising. Her Armament Haki appears to be quite advanced, as seen during the Whole Cake Island arc of One Piece.

6 Shanks

Shanks is the captain of the Red-Hair Pirates and a Yonko of the Sea, just like Charlotte Linlin. He possesses no Devil Fruit power and relies solely on his Haki in battle. The fact that he's on this list means that he possesses all three Haki types, as I'd expected of a man of his caliber. Shanks was, in fact, the first person to use Conqueror's Haki in One Piece. It is widely speculated that his Conqueror's Haki is the strongest in the series.

5 Silvers Rayleigh

The former Right-Hand Man of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, Rayleigh is just like Shanks when it comes to fighting abilities. He doesn't have any Devil Fruit, and instead, he relies on the powers of his Haki in battle. Rayleigh taught Luffy how to use all the Haki types, and this was possible only because he was an expert at using all three himself. He demonstrated his powerful Haki throughout the Sabaody Archipelago arc of One Piece.

4 Whitebeard

Whitebeard was the strongest person in the One Piece world when alive and that's enough to think that he had all the three Haki types. As confirmed by Eiichiro Oda, Whitebeard was a user of all the three Haki types and this has also been seen in the manga quite clearly.

Being a mighty pirate second to none, his Haki was at the top, allowing him to attain the power that he sought to protect his family.

3 Gol D. Roger

The Pirate King, Gol D. Roger would obviously have been a user of all the Haki types, and one would be foolish to assume that he didn't. As seen in Oden's flashback, Roger was a user of all the Haki types. His Armament and Conqueror's Haki was revealed to the fans during his fight against Whitebeard. Although he wasn't seen using Observation Haki, he definitely possessed that power as well.

2 Boa Hancock

Also known as the Pirate Empress, Boa Hancock is quite a powerful pirate who served as one of the Shichibukai when the system was thriving prior to the recent Reverie. As a fighter, Hancock is known to be extremely powerful. Much like Luffy, Hancock can use both a Devil Fruit and Haki. In fact, she possesses great control over all three Haki types. Although the exact mastery that she possesses over Haki isn't known, what we do know is that her Armament Haki is extremely powerful.

1 Kozuki Oden

Oden was once the Daimyō of Kuri in Wano before he went sailing with Whitebeard and became the Second Division Commander on his ship. Oden also journeyed with Roger to the island known as Laugh Tale, the place where the One Piece is located. His strength was admired by both Roger and Whitebeard, which speaks volumes about his ability. Unsurprisingly, Oden possessed the power to use all the three Haki types, and he used them to quite a decent degree as well.
